There was once a young guy that walked along the beach, tired, ready to collaspe. No eating, so many problems.
All of the sudden he heard a voice. An angelic voice. A girl singing. Using the last of his strength, he nears, to see who the angelic voice belongs to.
To his surprise he sees the source. A mermaid. A beautiful Mermaid.
The young man stays listening to her, such a marvelous vision. Then he notices that the mermaid begins to cry as she sings. The young man attempts to get closer, but his strength perishes and he falls to the sand. The mermaid is frightened by the sound. But before she thought of leaping back into the ocean, She hears him speak.
"Don't cry. Tears are not becoming of you." Then he sees nothing but darkness.
Later he awoke with a headache. He tries to recollect what happened, when he realizes a girl, lying asleep, hugged to his side. In a few she awakes and asks him if he feels better. He replies that he is well. then he asks, "Who are you?"
"I am that Mermaid that you encountered on the beach and gave the advice to," she responds. How could that be? If here she was with legs?
"Are you truly that mermaid?" She tells him, in order to save his life, she had to sacrifice her magic. Now she could never return to the sea. As she tells him this, she begins to be downcasted. The young man with the bit of strength that he has, stands up. He then extends his hand to her to accept. He helps her up.
"What is the name of the this young girl who saved me?" He asks.
"My name is hard for you to pronounce in my language. But you may call me May," she replies.
He smiles and strokes her cheek gently. " It's a pleasure May. Mi name is Takao. And now I wish to thank you for saving my life. Caring for you, for the rest of my life."
As she heard this, she embraced him with tears in her eyes, as a beautiful sunset crowned around this new love.
